Existentialism Flipped Learning 2016

Language Learners from Semester 3 of Post Graduate Department of English, #MKBU practiced #FlippedLearning in the Department, where learners were supposed to complete the literary #WebTasks of #Existentialism under the guidance of Prof. Dilip Barad Sir. Got a chance to take a stroll and saw students taking notes, selectioning comfortable learning environments, listening to and watching video resources, and selecting #Web2.0 platforms with preferable internet enabled devices of their choice such as either smartphones, laptops or personal computers. It offers such a noble learning atmosphere and Flipped Learning environment which creates an innovative mode of learning when a learner learns through #TaskBasedLangageTeaching #TBL and it's a modern way of #EnglishLanguageTeaching

Teacher's role is critical in Flipped learning because a teacher has to design a task which is so engaging, innovative and learner friendly. A praiseworthy work is being done by the teacher Professor Dr. Dilip Barad in #EnglishDepartment, #MKBU where learners are at the centre. My God look at the work the students are practicing, evaluating, learning! Complex ideas of #FriedrichNietzsche, #JeanPaulSartre on existentialism are simplified through video resources such as #BlendedLearningVideos, blogs of Prof. Barad, #infographics, tasks based on #GoogleForms. Complete package of #BlendedLearning #FlippedLearning for the Semester 3 Students of English Literature! This is a very modern approach to traditional language teaching. How wonderful trajectory of #tasks had been designed for learners to learn with the guidelines of the teacher. Flipped learning also offers a facility to collect the feedback which can be practiced through #BlendedLearning in the class after completion of #FlippedLearning tasks. Impressive! Couldn't resist myself being a teacher to this modern way of learning experience of #FlippedLearning. The only possible excuse to flipped learning can be a teacher should be ready! Video resources along with face to face learning

Yesterday (11th September 2011) there was an interesting debate held in the class. The Subject was: what should be there first, text reading and then video resources or first video resources and then text reading. As per my opinion, we should go for text reading first and then video resources because the text is the primary thing. The Text is the origin and then the videos are prepared on the basis of the text. We understand about the characters, the theme and the genre and a lot more about a book by reading it, when there is a possibility of omission in a video of a text. Now a days, because of latest software, video production and editing has become easy. At the same time I believe that video resources are very powerful tool that saves time and makes the text understanding simpler, yet one question in my mind motivates me to go for text reading first and that is: Can we prepare an answer in the exam on the basis of the Video adaptation of a play? My answer to that question is No. W...
