How far an institute should be rated as better or worse from the perspectives of its placement cell

Introduction to the Topic

A customer is the most important visitor on our premises; he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so. – Mahatma Gandhi

Placement for Students

A student is a customer of the institute. Ultimately any student opts for higher education to get better job perspectives. So we can say that Placement is the main concern for the students. And therefore Placement cell is one of the most sensitive areas of an institute.

Two Main Perspectives to judge an institute

1   Quality of Education
2   Better Placement for students

However, nowadays it is believed that those institutes having higher placement ratio are
considered and rated to be the best institutes. Indeed, placement is a main concern for a student
and for the institute but not at the cost of quality of Education. I believe that placement ratio and
quality Education are two main perspectives while judging the institute’s success. Good
combination of The Quality of Education and Better Placement Ratio are two perspectives while
rating an institute.
